Below is a list of the most common labs our patients have tested. Insurance can be used for the basic labs or you can pay a discounted cash price. Most specialty labs are paid for out of pocket. Please note this is not a comprehensive list. We can help you determine which labs are best for you. If you plan on having labs drawn during your initial visit, they need to be determined prior to your appointment.

Basic Labs: $75

  • Complete Blood Count: Evaluates overall health and detect and/or identify a wide range of hematologic disorders.
  • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel: Evaluates your sugar (glucose) level, electrolytes, liver function, and kidney function.
  • Lipid Panel: Evaluates high cholesterol as an index to coronary artery disease.
  • Vitamin D: Evaluates Vitamin D levels
  • Vitamins B12 and Folate: Evaluates B12 and Folate levels which are both a part of the Vitamin B Complex

Comprehensive Labs: $225

  • Complete Blood Count: Evaluates overall health and detect and/or identify a wide range of hematologic disorders.
  • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel: Evaluates your sugar (glucose) level, electrolytes, liver function, and kidney function.
  • Lipid Panel: Evaluates high cholesterol as an index to coronary artery disease.
  • Thyroid Panel  with TSH (includes several tests): Evaluates how well your thyroid is functioning.
  • Iron Panel Plus Ferritin (includes several tests): Evaluates Iron level, Iron stores, nutritional status, and can help detect blood diseases.
  • Uric Acid: useful in the diagnosis and treatment of gout, renal failure, and a variety of other disorders including leukemia, psoriasis, starvation, and other wasting conditions.
  • Gamma-Glutamyl Transferase (GGT): A biliary enzyme that is especially useful in the diagnosis of obstructive jaundice, intrahepatic cholestasis, and pancreatitis.
  • C-Reactive Protein: Can be used as a test for inflammatory diseases, infections, and neoplastic diseases (malignant or benign growths).
  • Hemoglobin A1c: evaluates the average amount of glucose in the blood over the last 2 to 3 months by measuring the percentage of glycated (glycosylated) hemoglobin.
  • Vitamin D: Evaluates Vitamin D levels
  • Magnesium: Evaluates Magnesium Levels
  • Phosphorus: Evaluates Phosphorus Levels
  • Homocysteine: Used to evaluate vitamin deficiencies, risk of heart disease, and risk of autoimmune diseases.
  • Vitamins B12 and Folate: Evaluates B12 and Folate levels which are both a part of the Vitamin B Complex
  • Estradiol: Known as (E2) is one of 3 of the group of steroids called estrogens. Is the most potent estrogen. Present in both men and women. This test will measure the amount of estradiol in your blood.
  • Cortisol: Plays a role in the metabolism of proteins, lipids, and carbohydrates. It affects blood glucose levels, helps maintain blood pressure, and helps regulate the immune system. This test measures the amount of cortisol in your blood.
  • Testosterone: The main hormone in men, but also present in women. This test measure the amount of testosterone in your blood.
  • Progesterone: Works in conjunction with the other hormones in your body. Present in women and small amounts are also present in men. This test will measure the amount of progesterone in your body.
  • DHEA-S: a hormone that is present in both men and women and is produced primarily by the adrenal glands. This test measures the level of DHEAS in the blood.
  • Insulin: This test measures the level of insulin in your blood. Insulin is a hormone that is produced and stored in the pancreas. It helps regulates blood glucose levels. 

Specialty Labs: Cost Varies 

  • Advanced Inflammation testing
    • Wheat testing – This test is the most comprehensive and sensitive assessment of gluten and wheat sensitivity, is the earliest and most sensitive detection of celiac available, and is the most thorough assessment of intestinal barrier stability.
    • Corn testing – this test offers the most comprehensive view of grain sensitivity.
    • Lectin testing – this test detects antibodies for lectins and aquaporins.
    • Dairy testing – tests for sensitivities to dairy
    • Food sensitivity panel – This tests for the 96 most common foods that are consumed and includes dairy, meat, seafood, fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, nuts, nightshades and more!
    • CTD panel – Assists in diagnosis of connective tissue disorders and other related autoimmune disorders. This panel can detect autoimmune antibodies even before a positive ANA.
  • Neural testing – This test detects a panel of common viral agents that cause neurological defects
  • Total immunoglobulins- measures the amount of anti-bodies in your blood. Levels that are too high or too low can be a sign of a health condition. For example high levels can be indicative of autoimmune diseases or chronic diseases, while low levels can be indicative of an infection.
  • Gut testing- This stool test measures over 170 commensal (good) bacteria in your gut as well as markers for digestion and inflammation. It also measures an extensive panel pathogenic (bad) bacteria, yeast, viruses, and parasites that are known to cause health issues.
  • Heavy metal testing- This urine test measures for toxicity of 20 different heavy metals, which can deplete critical nutrients that your body needs.
  • Mycotoxin testing – Mycotoxins are secondary metabolites produced by fungus/mold. They are known to cause serious health conditions including autoimmune diseases and other chronic diseases. This panel tests for 34 different common mycotoxins.
  • Tickborne disease testing – Tickborne diseases cause symptoms that can mimic or overlap with other chronic diseases. This panel provides comprehensive testing for Lyme, Tickborne Relapsing Fever and several  co-infections.
  • Food sensitivity panel- This tests for the 96 most common foods that are consumed and includes dairy, meat, seafood, fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, nuts, nightshades and more! The comprehensive Food panel tests 209 foods to include additives.
  • Infectious virus panel- This test measures antibody levels of viruses to in Epstein-Barr, Cytomegalovirus, and Herpes Viruses.
  • Fungal Antibodies- This tests measures fungal antibodies to fungus such as candida.
